Musical accompaniment adds a beautiful touch to many aspects of the wedding ceremony: the prelude while the guests arrive, the processional, songs during the ceremony if appropriate, the recessional, and a postlude while guests leave.
Of course, every ceremony is different and Elisa is happy to work with the couple to craft a musical accompaniment that meets their needs, and is available to play at the reception as well.
Prelude and Postlude
Drawing upon her classical, jazz, and pop repertoire Elisa will put together a light selection while the guests arrive and depart. Of course, she is happy to take specific requests.
For example, she might play the love theme from Romeo and Juliet, or Dance of the Lambs.
Processional and Recessional
For the processional and recessional, there are many traditional songs to pick from, or you can choose something a little different! It is important that the music is adaptable in length, because it is hard to plan out exactly how long the precession/recession will take. Here are some of Elisa’s favorites:
18th Century March
Air
Pachabel’s Canon
Rondeau
Festival Serenade
If you have any questions or would like to discuss having harp music at your wedding, don’t hesitate to contact Elisa.
