Solo
Elisa Thorn is a harpist and vocalist known for her distinct use of the instrument in many contemporary contexts from pop to jazz to experimental. An avid collaborator, she has many projects including Gentle Party and The Giving Shapes, and works alongside many artists such as Mauvey, Tonye Aganaba, Loscil and Mother Mother. Her solo project combines elements of pop & folk music that is informed by her classical technique and career as a contemporary musician. Using a loop pedal, voice, and Camac Uylsses harp, she builds soundscapes expansive for just one person. It soundscape-y, imaginative and would be well suited for listening to while driving down a country road, in the bath, or laying down in a mossy field.
Elisa is working on the debut EP of this project, to be released in 2024.
